Cloud Tree Series
This piece was originally conceived after an invitation to create a piece to be installed at Chauncy Hall Chapel Hill School in Massachusetts. The original tree utilized blown-glass clouds attached to forged steel branches. Ultimately the steel/glass joint failed, so the clouds were replaced with steel in 2021. The small life-sized tree was reinstalled at the school’s new Fine Arts building.

The first iteration of Cloud Tree 1, 2018. Unfortunately, our technique for attaching the glass clouds to the metal ultimately failed, and so they were replaced with steel clouds and the piece was reinstalled at a new location within the school in 2021.
