Let me tell you a story…

I once had a customer who thought that we had a railing “machine.” I explained to him that we were, in fact, the machine. In our metalshop, we start with various shapes of “stock.” Steel, brass, stainless, or aluminum in various shapes come in 12, 20, or 24 ft. lengths, or sheets in different thicknesses. We cut, shape, forge, roll, mill, bend and weld this stock to meet the demands of our designs. We then grind, blend, file, sand, and sometimes polish surfaces before getting them ready for paint, hot dip galvanizing, powder coat, patina, or clear coat. Our minds, bodies, and tools make up the machine.
