We were asked to produce a brass railing for an 1891 historic home in Providence, RI. Take a look at the video below for a peak into our process:




Brass plated stainless steel post "shoes" dress the base of each newel post.

A tight fit between the post shoe and the installation plate.

Plates are installed flush with the mahogany.

The fabrication process for brass railings includes hours of hand filing and sanding for seamless transitions between the cast volutes and molded bar cap railing.
