Dutch-Style Balconettes

Renovations to a Brookline, MA home that added new windows required reproduction ironwork to match the Dutch-style pieces already on the premises. Using our 1929 Little Giant power hammer, we textured every inch of steel to match the hammered texture of the original. It is interesting to note that the hammer we used is from the same era as the original balconettes. The motifs included forge-welded scroll ends and hand-forged rectangles.
